Chicks who-did a helluva lot more-than Click! January 12, 2009

We clicked, we clinked, we created, connected and collaborated, but what we didn’t do was “clique” and that is awesome! In all my years of event planning, I have never seen a conference so cohesive, so connected, what an amazing group of women (and dudes)! From inception to completion, we had energy, we had brilliance, we had more collaboration than I could imagine, there were laughs and tears and friendships made. We learned that although, we are all “connected” 24/7, that we actually survived for 60 minutes to “shut down” and find our inner wisdom woman! We learned how to utilize our social toolbox, we learned that there is no way to connect on 50 sites, but there are 5 fantastic ones that will work amazingly well! We were able to brainstorm and collaborate with a small group to strategize a social media plan and present that plan, which was so fascinating to hear all the groups and how creative and smart this group could be! We talked a lot about listening…listening and then communicating to our audience, how to be authentic and how to network within the social media structure.

Our presenters were top shelf! Networking was incredible, sponsors were off the hook! We are still chatting via #cwc09 on twitter, we have a Ning set up and Wayne is working on a Wiki! Pictures are posted to Flickr . Continue to create, connect and collaborate and we will see you again for #CWC10….nah, I can’t wait that long…stay tuned!

We are less than a week out, and we are very excited to welcome you, not only to Colorado, but to Boulder as well!  I am so excited that we have so many out of town attendees!  A few things you should know.  If you are skiing on Friday, we will meet at the St Julien, please be ready to load into the Excurison Limo by 8:30am.  We will have coffee and snacks for the way up.  You will be give a lift ticket voucher that you can redeem at the ticket window for your lift ticket. If you need to rent equipment, you can do so at the base of the mountain.  There is a bar/cafeteria at the base, you can grab lunch there and relax if you need a break.  Enjoy your day skiing! We will load up around 4pm and head back to the St Julien.  There is an open meet up at B-side in Boulder around 5pm, they have a terrific happy hour which includes bottomless wine for like $5.50-great deal!  Be ready to get your drink on!  Come totally casual or in your ski duds if you like!

Saturday morning at the St Julien begins at 8:30am.  A continental breakfast will be provided as well as lunch, and snacks!  We have an action-packed day planned for you!  Please bring your laptop!  At 5:30pm we will head over to the Blending Cellar for wine and tapas till around 7:30pm.  If you want to continue to party, network and play, there are a myriad of restaurants and bars to wander to on Pearl Street.  Everything is within walking distance from the St Julien.  Can’t wait to meet all of you Chicks who Click!
