We clicked, we clinked, we created, connected and collaborated, but what we didn’t do was “clique” and that is awesome! In all my years of event planning, I have never seen a conference so cohesive, so connected, what an amazing group of women (and dudes)! From inception to completion, we had energy, we had brilliance, we had more collaboration than I could imagine, there were laughs and tears and friendships made. We learned that although, we are all “connected” 24/7, that we actually survived for 60 minutes to “shut down” and find our inner wisdom woman! We learned how to utilize our social toolbox, we learned that there is no way to connect on 50 sites, but there are 5 fantastic ones that will work amazingly well! We were able to brainstorm and collaborate with a small group to strategize a social media plan and present that plan, which was so fascinating to hear all the groups and how creative and smart this group could be! We talked a lot about listening…listening and then communicating to our audience, how to be authentic and how to network within the social media structure.
Our presenters were top shelf! Networking was incredible, sponsors were off the hook! We are still chatting via #cwc09 on twitter, we have a Ning set up and Wayne is working on a Wiki! Pictures are posted to Flickr . Continue to create, connect and collaborate and we will see you again for #CWC10….nah, I can’t wait that long…stay tuned!
